Staff very friendly and helpful they maintain the station to a high standard always clean. The train service from here into London is generally good but at weekends in particular can be frustrating as engineering works adds 20 mins journey time.
Quite overrated town nowadays, with more and more "chavs" moving in, whilst remaining expensive. The old local businesses are struggling, and most newly launched ones go bust quickly. The public transport is a shambles, like in all East Hertfordshire.It saw no significant services development for years! It's screaming out "provincial", and the general impression is, sadly, one of a rather backwards place.
Ware is a lovely town in Hertfordshire made famous for its Malting industry.
Small station but reliable trains
You cannot see timing boards outside of station, only after you would ordinarily use contactless. Of course you touch in and then find that your train is cancelled. Staff cannot refund contactless.
