Visiting friends in the area and received WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE! Food was disgusting and not fresh at all. These people seemed to act like they were doing me a favour for me to pay them to stay open.
DON'T ORDER FROM HERE!!!! Took 1hour and 20 minutes for the food to arrive. When it did arrive the order was wrong. Called to ask where the rest of the order was only to be told that they did not take it down. Maybe they should read the orders back to you. When we sat down to eat the food was cold. Lovely birthday meal for my husband....NOT Will be spreading the word not to order from here
Chicken chow mein dry as can be. Couldn't even swallow not a drip of sauce in the bottom of the pot. Either been sitting there or not cooked with enough sauce. Called to tell them they said sorry didn't offer me my money back or a replacement!!! Will steer clear of in future.
Ordered from Wok U Like on a Saturday night via JustEat. We were quoted an hour wait time, which was expected as we ordered at 7:50, and it turned up at 8:40 which was fantastic! We were really impressed with the quality of the food and didn't think it was too over priced. One small thing, we ordered the Deep Fried Beef strips with Salt, Chilli & Garlic and it doesn't come with any sauce, which we thought was strange. This dish could definitely benefit from having some sort of sauce, which you would usually get when ordering this dish from other Chinese restaurants. That aside, we highly recommend and can't wait to order again soon. 5/5.
I have been ordering from Wok You Like for years with my family so was really disappointed with my previous two experiences. The first bad experience I had was when the delivery driver arrived and said that Wok You Like hadn't added the delivery charge. I was sure I had already paid this and ended up paying twice for this. The second was just last weekend when I moved house. To celebrate, we ordered a takeaway from Wok You Like. We ordered and a delivery time of an hour was given. We thought fair enough, we can wait that long, we were tired and hungry and didn't want to have to cook. After an hour and a half we called to find out where the food was as it was nearly 10pm only to be told by the rude man on the phone that everyone's order was delayed. I was furious that we had to call up twice to find out where our order was, it was over half an hour late and the rudeness of the manager. There was no compensation and barely an apology. It was a case of 'we're running late, like it or lump it'. He even asked if I wanted to cancel the order because he wasn't going to do anything about it. If an accurate delivery time had been given, we would have likely gone elsewhere as we were very tired and hungry. This put a sour note on what should have been a celebration. These experiences were extremely disappointing and the manager of this restaurant should learn about providing good customer service as they will lose many more customers like ourselves.
