I used to really like this surgery but since having a baby I have found that they aren't great. When my baby is unwell I have to book a sit and wait appointment and I would say 90% of the time I have waited over and hour to be seen. This is hard to do with a baby!
I came to Church Street Surgery from a Hoddesdon surgery and the difference between the two couldn't be more marked! How refreshing to deal with a helpful and happy admin team and a GP who refused to give up in getting me the right diagnosis. And although when booking online there can be a 2 week (or more) wait to see a GP, they will always see you as an emergency on the same day if you need it. Thank you Church Street Surgery for being head and shoulders above the kind of GP surgery I had become used to before.
Would be nice if it was possible to get an appointment within two weeks of calling, by which time someone is so sick they end up at the hospital walk-in centre. Answer the phone once in a while! Male doctors could do with working on their bedside manner with female patients too.
