A real treat..as the atmosphere in this cosy pub is as it should be.Good chat... laughter.. and a huge welcome..well since to the publican and their friendly staff.

This hidden little gem...What a fabulous traditional pub...went for a sunday drink with my family great atmosphere live music everyone was so friendly and the landlord made you feel very much apart of the local crowd. best pub in Ware I would say...will be back :-)
Great quiz night on Tuesdays. Always a guest ale available. Great pub.
Recently visited this pub whilst visiting relatives who live in Ware, I was well impressed and found it a lovely cosy inn, my only concern was the Barman's reluctance to accept Scottish banknotes, however as this seems to be an ongoing thing regarding Scottish banknotes with English landlords over many years it has come to be expected, l would like to say that any English visitors using Scottish pubs will receive a warm welcome,,,and you won't even require to exchange your currency
